Play971, the first licensed online gambling platform in the United Arab Emirates, has announced content partnerships with IGT and Endorphina on July 21. The agreements expand the operator's game library with IGT's PlayDigital catalogue and a selection of Endorphina's slot titles.
The collaboration introduces IGT games, including Blackjack, Cleopatra, and Cats, to the Play971 platform. Gil Rotem, CEO of Digital at IGT, stated that the partnership is rooted in innovation and integrity to support market growth. Philippa Bowland, Play971's commercial gaming director, noted that welcoming these providers aligns with the company's goal of raising gaming standards.
Endorphina Licensing and Market Entry
Endorphina received its gaming-related vendor license in May, allowing the supplier to operate under the oversight of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Lohith Chittajallu, Senior Manager of Partnerships and Expansion at Endorphina, commented that the market is still in its early stages and the deal opens new opportunities for players.
Play971 secured its license from the GCGRA late last year and launched its football betting service for UAE customers last month. The platform has also appointed former Australian cricketer Brett Lee as a brand ambassador to support its commercial activities. The GCGRA was established in 2023 to coordinate gambling regulation and licensing within the Emirates.
